I got £30 worth for introducing a friend to Sky so I went in to my local store expecting to find lots of bargains in the sale but no such luck.

They have done away with the kids stuff & the only other thing that I remotely like was a dressing gown which I would have had to put an extra £5 to-then I thought of how cheap I could get 1 in Matalan for so I think it's going to go on a nice meal & bottle of wine for Valentines Day.

Yep, I think we are going to be having a nice Valentine's meal too!!!!

The Folkestone store only has women's clothes and food anyway and dont fancy trudging all the way to Canterbury just to spend these vouchers.

Dont know what to do about the House of Frazer one though.... ???

I just pop in now and then.... :)

I have got £30 of M&S vouchers from taking back an unwanted Christmas gift & am really struggling to find anything to buy with them. I think it's going to be wine or a whole year's worth of birthday cards..........
I have heard it suggested that you should stand by the till & wait for someone paying cash for their goods, then offer them your vouchers in exchange for the cash! Might be worth a go if you're cheeky enough, but I've never been brave enough to try it yet!

You've just reminded me- years ago a friend of mine was standing in a queue waiting to buy some clothes for her first-born when 2 girls approached her asking if she'd buy their £10 voucher off them for £5.

The reason they gave was it was one of their birthdays, they were skint but wished to have a drink at nearby pub.

Friend agreed but asked them to stay with her in case they were pulling a fast one! They weren't!

Friend got £10 worth of baby clothes she was buying anyway for a £5 and girls got cash to spend in pub!

BTW - this was about 14 years ago if anyone queries the price of drinks.lol

Let us know if you dare do it Bridie

    ;) ;D
