vent: Quidco

Options
I placed an order with the Body Shop on 13/11/09 through Quidco and ordered the love your body card as Quidco where advertising it with 4.50 cashback which is basically the price of the card. Anyway, it hasn't tracked so I raised a query with Quido who advise me that the offer ended on 9/11/09:mad: The annoying thing is it is still be advertised on their site with no mention that the offer has ended.

If anyone is interested in this offer go to Topcashback, at least you'll get your money from them.

Quidco has gone down hill A LOT lately. It's ok for 20p cashback when you buy CD or DVD but don't consider it for anything more than a few pennies

I notice at todays date (16th Nov) it still states on the Quidco website

"Please read the following before proceeding:

The cashback offer for the 'Love Your Body' loyalty card will track in at £0.00 and uplift to £4.50 upon validation."

so I think you should have some sort of case, perhaps you should try posting on the "Quidco referral thread", hopefully Jules should pick up on it and advise you.

Meantime I would take a screenshot as "evidence"...if they are still advertising it....they should pay up, is it possible this is more to do with it tracking at Zero and then validating later when its processed at the £4.50....your quote from Quidco and what they said is a bit too short, can you tell us any more?

Sorry, I for one still rate Quidco...care to expand from your personal experience on why they have gone down hill a lot lately?

I got worried with all this rubbish about Quidco not paying out, but I've earned £400 in 6 months and it's all been received now.. so maybe it's luck, or maybe people are just not patient enough :p

I went over to topcashback after two large cashbacks tracked on quidco, but then took almost a year, and numerous e-mails, to pay out. I've been with TCB over a year and haven't had a single issue with them.

  • I to am waiting for my cashback £75, taken 4 months so far, upon enquiry, they told me by the end of November

  • quidco is pants, i have got very few of my cashbacks and have stopped using it
    mortui non mordent
  • I switched to topcashback after various problems with Quidco but I am not sure why people still use Quidco rather than topcashback as with TCB you do not have to pay them any annual fee and you get more cashback as you get 'top-up'.

I have also found the customer service far better at TCB than at Quidco.

So basically by using topcashback you get the same service as Quidco but without having to pay £5 for the privilege and you get more cashback - seems a no-brainer to me? :D

unfortunately, i have also had recent problems with tracking with quidco. smaller transactions are very quidck to track but a couple of larger transactions ---over £50 each have not.
tickets cannot be raised till 4-6 weeks pass unfortunately and in cases like insurance if it doesnt pay out, you are well into the contract.
i used to be a great fan of quidco as i never had problems over 3 years till recently.
now i have turned to topcashback and no problems as of now.
