It was definitely ouch bloodofareptile- I got the letter on xmas eve and have to admit I felt like _pale_ but it certainly got me on track to being more MSE so that's a good thing

Bank finally got credited with £5 from free virgin scratchcard today so I was happy :j

I had the same thing yesterday Liggins!! My service quadrupled in price - needed brake pads and tyres. Not really the sort of things you can do without!!

Me too, we had to get our 2 front tyres replaced at the end of last year £250 it cost us. Luckily i had just got paid so it didn't go on any cards but its £250 less in the pot. Oh well, glad we got it sorted as you said tlc123 it is a necessity.

I am not perfect but everyone loves a trier don't they??:A
  • Yay! Managed to do my weeks shopping for lass than £5 this week!!! :)
  • Wow amatheya thats brilliant -it will take me some serious practice, organisation and self control to get to that level - but one day I will achieve it!

Well it looks like I will have to do a full days work tomorrow for the first time in weeks, no rest for the wicked :rotfl:. Mind you I start a residential course next week for four weeks so all my bills (inc food and petrol) will be right down :T which is always an upside from being away from home and my moggies (even though I live 20 miles from the Centre - Lol)

    Night everyone

Evening all - what is the scratchcard thing which quite a few people mention? Is that a common MSE thing?
  • Hi Ecdub they are free scratchcards, if you do a forum search there is a guide somewhere. If you don't have any joy I'll have a look for you, but I'm not sure how to insert a link? Hope this helps

    Morning all!

School closed again today so trying to work out what I can do to earn extra pennies towards debts while at home?!? The house will be immaculate at least - off to write a list.

    Have a good day! :D
Wandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...
