Chops Chipping the credit card debt!!

Just got the email for the petrol account, and I can not believe how much it is this month..............£65.14 :j:j:j

I am really please with this, as we budget £150 a month...so for Feb we will have £74.86 extra in the budget. Yay!!:D

This is mainly because I have not been to town shopping I think. I last filled my car up on the 14th December.

Also the snow meant we stayed in and drove a little less I suppose, I also cancelled my gym, so I have not ben going there also.

I would so love to to throw this extra money off the credit card, but with the bathroom being such a mess I just dare not. So it is going into the emergency savings for now.


I think this month there will not be any over payments.........as we need to get the bathroom fixed.

I also worked out that from July little DS will not be going to creche, so that will be another £70 a month we will have extra.

Oh my god what is wrong with me!!!!

I have eaten really well today, no snacking and lots of fruit and veg...and I went into the kitchen to do the packups...and I have eaten one of the kids wraps!!

and a rocky bar...and some hula hoops!!!

I think I have worms!!!!!!!!!


Hmm actually , if I had worms I would be getting thinner...so I am either just a greedy guts or my worms are rubbish ones!!

Good Morning!!
I have had a busy morning, I was up and dressed by 7am, so no need to wake hubby today as he is in bed off nights.:A


I have done an hours ironing, and painted my nails. I am going to peel the potoes for dinner, then play with little DS for an hour.

Then I am off to nip to town whilst he is at nursery this afternoon.

I have had wholmeal toast for breakfast. I am going to have soup for lunch.

It's freezing here today, and raining, of the joys!!

LOL at the worms! Otherwise well done on the eating and bonkers exercise. I'm am sooooo bored of diets. Sick of talking about it and sick of being on one - yawn.

My little DD starts school in September and I am counting down the days to no more nursery fees :j so I'm with you there!

Ha I know, I realy don't know how you do it.

On work days I am up at half six....on non work days...hmmm 8ish

I see some MSE posts at 6am etc on sundays...and think ahhhh soo early.

My head thinks I am a teanager still I think!:eek:

I am absolutely shatered......................and will soon be off to bed.

It is only 2 days till payday. We are not in the overdraft....and the cupboards are full.:j:j

I am pleased, as it means the budget is working.

20p on the scratch cards, but one got to paying out level, so that is £5 on its way to me as we speak.

I am going to meal plan like mad this month, as I feel it is really making a difference. I have also got slap dash with my little money spending book..so that is going to be out with avengence this month too.



We have still not had notification of Hubbys pay increase..and I want to know what it is...but will have to wait till friday.


Night every one, I am off to snuggle up and watch a film.

Yes, with Hubbys bonus, but still got to find £300 extra.
I am looking forward to it tho, need to get a bikini bod tho!!

His payrise is to the next level, but cause they have yet to agree the main one everyone gets, the paperwork has yet to arrive....I need to put it on my spreadsheet!!!!

Today has been a strange one, feel really tired. Went to a funeral today, and it was cold and sad. I need my pj's and some chocolate I think.:(

Off to do the scratches and then bath and bed...........need to put fresh bedding on so it will be bliss full.
