Sorry, but it's not a blu-ray recorder. The player is a High Definition DVD Recorder with HDD (250GB) and Twin HD Satellite Tuner.

From Panasonic website.

The 750 and 850 models are the blu-rays.

I should have known that seeing as I sell them >_<. I didn't properly read the model number, just saw it was a panasonic freesat recorder and that someone had referred to it as an HD DVD and put 2 and 2 together incorrectly

With the small changes in the model numbers, you'd have to be mastermind to memorise them all. :beer:

my mother has recently got one, with built in FREESAT
however to benefit from freesat, you must get a areial (similar to a sky dish) fitted
mother paid approx £80 to have this fitted

the big difference being once fitted there's now montly subscriptions to pay, you view what ever frresat channels are available, all beit at present very few

must say the picture quality on freesat channels (even the few you can get) is excellent
watched the difference on ITV watching a football match

Freesat does not require an aerial, it requires an identical dish to a Sky dish.
There are about 140 Freesat channels-how many more did you want?

Im completely aware of how freesat works (Its a sat dish, not an aerial)
