Ooh.. did i mention.. Tiddles has a verucca? .. and DD1 has 3... I get to pick my daughers footsies... my life is such fun!
I found that the best thing to do was not to pick at them (or use caustic or aspirin based treatments, all of which cause irritation & inflammation) - apparently covering them in duct tape works as well as anything else. Banana skin, lemon oil or thuja (homeopathic) are also supposed to work. Then again, they do actually tend to disappear naturally after a while, you just need to keep the hard skin filed down and make sure it doesn't cause any problems with their gait. If necessary, see a chiropodist - that's what I ended up doing, and she removed the hard skin, put some of the homeopathic stuff on it, and it went within a couple of weeks.

You're a bit far away, but if you'll come and collect, it's all yours!

embb - great news :D:p hope you get a nice neighbour next time.

I'm working from home again today, as I went for my sports massage and she did my ankle  so I've had to come home and put it up with ice on for a bit.

Suppose I should do some work now. I'm going to have to do half an hour at a time, interspersed with icing/resting my foot

Jinky wishing you every happiness in your new home x
Embb wooot result there, pleased they have gone! Just hope she doesn't make another nice persons life hell. My old nightmare neighbours now live 200+ miles away, what went around came around & gave them a bite on the bum :D
FFP it's horrible that they're closing so many schools & I wish you every success with your campaign as so many are unsuccessful (my neice/nephews closed last year)
    toochoosey well done :)
carlberggal ((hugs)) for you all, hope today goes ok, ditto what piggers said xx

First morning I haven't needed to dash off somewhere, dog has appreciated it with having an earlier walk...well run...noone believes us that he is 9. I forgot to change my shoes, pumps + muddy hill = slip slide slop :o !

I feel a little, strop, coming on....phoned DS1s school last night to be told faculty head had gone home but teacher that answered thought there had been an answer for DS1s possible mainstream access....so I left another message to ask her to call....still no call. I need to know as we need visits etc sorting asap if it's agreed & I need to seek further advice if it's not. Think I might phone them again in a mo....

OK, today, being children's rooms is perfect for me once DP is up, he's working nights midweek, so a bit of a pest for me when he is in bed until lunch time. Once he's up think I will ask him to put the stuff in the garage I wanted him to do yesterday when I was out....ok need a list

    Dailies
Calendar - serious need to compile school letters, appointments etc & get them on one calendar
[STRIKE]Unpack 3 boxes from dining area
    Phone school [/STRIKE]
Friday list in DS2s room (no chance I will get both done as they both still need fully doing/unpacking etc)
Kitchen, bomb site, needs a clear through will make a more detailed list for that later

Going to do a 11.15-11.45 HHC to get me moving if anyone wants to join me :D then I will kick DP out of bed & do some lunch, bacon mmmmm
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

it might be worth a try... after all, they aren't going to become resistant to banana skin!

in that case I'd strongly recommend getting her to a chiropodist if you don't see a noticeable difference with the first course of treatment (mine was on the side of my heel, and cause me a lot of problems). And be gentle with it when you're filing it, to try to avoid inflaming it and making it sore. There seems to be a very fine line between removing the dead skin so that treatment can work and disturbing the actual verucca which isn't such a good idea.

I've put a load of washing on... and should probably do some work now :o

Well, you'd better try the garlic then! :D

Have got the chilli on and it's cooking! Have no idea if I put the right amount of spices in, but tasted it and it tastes nice! Will taste again later and no doubt DH will have a fiddle with it too. The trouble is that the recipe doesn't really say how much of the spices to put in, and I have three times the amount of meat specified. Am sure it will be fine, won't be over hot that's the main thing. Last time I made it, I overdid the chilli powder and it was awful!

Going to have a bite to eat, and then have a look at my lists to see what I need to do to get a star or two!

Huston well done on all your stars and decluttering!
