Good morning folks. Please may I join you? I am new to OS - have recently started doing more cooking from scratch and batch cooking for the freezer and need to get a grip of the house. I have health and mobility problems and have a lodger who also helps in the house, so I may cheat and get her to help me with some of the tasks I can't manage - does that count? It all looks a bit overwhelming, but I'm willing to give it a go

    Here's my edited version....

    Daisy

Tuesday ~ Kitchen and Dining room
    Level One
    Declutter and mop/vacuum floor
Clear and wipe work surfaces (and do dishes!)
    Level Two
    Wipe units and large appliances
Give one small appliance a good clean!
    Level Three
Wipe the table, replace the cloth if needed

    Extras
    Wrap and birthday present
Write and post 2 b'day cards and a sympathy card
    Post parking fine appeal :o
    collect prescription

  • Good morning folks. Please may I join you?

    Garden pics here... hopefully!

a%3E?action=view&current=IM000321.jpg?action=view&current=IM000322.jpg?action=view&current=IM000322.jpg?action=view&current=IM000324.jpg?action=view&current=IM000325.jpg?action=view&current=IM000326.jpgETA - can't make them work... will have to try again from work!

For anyone who would rather help redesign my garden than do their flying :p, I'm going to replace the garage with a large shed - it'll have double doors on the drive end, a veranda/door/window on the garden side and a lean to with log store/potting bench at the back (facing the current shed).

Shed will be demolished, and I have plans to put a rotary washing line in that area.

I know the apple tree needs a hair cut...

Hedge down the side of the patio (leylandii & laurel) will be replaced with fence. Patio will be extended by about 6 feet. Need to decide on stone, and also what to do with path.

Garden will be levelled a bit - there will still be a higher level at the back, where the tree is on the bank but the lawn/shed etc will be level rather than up and down!

I have roses, hydrangeas, poppies, paeonies & irises heeled in at the front to go back, and I like cottage garden plants, preferably scented, which attract insects. Soil is solid clay...
