actually (and considering I am an active sleeper) they're not that bad. I seem to 'stay' on 'my' side of the bed. And they get a good tug in the morning when I make my bed...

    DVD was £7.99 at Morrisons.

I am trying (and failing) to understand how to do this Thorntons thing...

    Hi Valli

When you have placed the order for the items you want you need to order the hamper as well, then when you put in the order code it will charge it as free. I had a £50 order and had the £50 hamper (1987) free with the code XE9D. I didnt know at the time but if you order items that are 3 for 2 it will take the value of the 3 items (rather than the 2 you are paying for) as the total of your order.

    Hope this helps.

I really am off to bed now

Well football has been cancelled YET AGAIN but it means that sunday dinner won't be so difficult (not least because DD saw through my suggestion that she might like to learn how to boil a bacon joint:rolleyes:;)) so its roast spuds, mashed spuds, yorkshires and roast parsnips and sprouts...kids are THRILLED they LOVE sprouts (seriously) - I will do some more veg with them (frozen) and strudel for dessert (on offer)
    - dovetailing being a keen football supporter and making a decent dinner is not easy! For that reason I have frozen roast spuds and yorkshires to hand (and my ovens rubbish at high temps) - I am trying frozen roast parsnips as there's only me likes them (I adore them actually).
But the mashed pots and sprouts are fresh...

Thanks Kazm - so I order the hamper (1976) then input the other code? And my order needs to total £30 before 3-4-2? (soory for being thick!)

You order your items, then order the hamper and then add the code for it and it will show up as free.

I am told that as long as the order is £30 before the '3 for 2' then the code should still work hon.

Just remember that unlike other places, if you order in multiples of '3 for 2' at two different price points, they will just take off the cheapest..

ie.. 3 @ £5.50 will give you one free (obviously!:rotfl::rotfl:) But order 3 @ £5.50 and 3 @ £3.50 and they will charge you full price for all but two of the £3.50.. so six items with the two lowest free. Not such a good saving but still worth it.

    Morning All

Well the Christmas fair went very well - I don't know how much we made in total but I was on the cake stall and we made £161.60! After we'd visited my granparents we had a chippy tea and I fell asleep on the settee.

I'm going to have a go at doing some stuff in the LR in a moment while everyone else is still in bed.

    Have a good day all

I'm really annoyed with OH's ex.:mad: Dsd2 who's 16 is a 12/14, she's got a big build so will never be skinny but is in no way fat. OH's ex is getting married next year and has told DSd2 that she's too fat and needs to get to a size 8 before the wedding because that's what size she's buying the dress in.:mad::mad::mad: Honestly i could kill the woman.

Poor girl - hope she's strong enough to resist such ridiculous pressure

ooh i am being really annoying and practising random multi quotes, now penpen has explained how.

    Don;t go blaming me :p

Still wild and windy and wet out there. I may actually have to give in and use the tumble drier to get my bedding dry for bed time - it needs a wash.
