i am in the middle of shopping for a brand new contract
pls who will you recommend and why? I have just got out of three, never gain due to very poor reception
Orange, Tmobile or vodaphone?

Vodafone - best coverage - appaling cust service
O2 - best customer servoce good coverage
Orange some v good deals and cust service is OK coverage patchy round here
T mobile poor cust service

Get a free Orange SIM ( via Quidco and they will pay you ) and try out cioerage in your area Ditto T mobile -

Its worth spending £10 on a couple of PAYD sims to avoid a £500 contract which you can't use

Other than that as previous poster says ? mins texts and how fancy a phoien do you want oh and do you want a cashback deal ?

3 never used to have this stipulation, my contract did not have it, and I fought to get it cancelled.
