I've just gotten back from collecting instore, got my free GWP no probs, and it had a £20 glasses voucher and a 250pts voucher yay! (some had reported earlier that they hadn't received the 250pts voucher in theirs). The pedi set looks fabulous, really happy with it - not sure now whether to gift it, or keep it for myself??!! LOL

Also got all my S&G minis and 2 x gift bags, so am a happy bunny now :)

Wow, that's insane! £1500 = 150,000 points which you would collect with a spend of £37,500 at 4 points per pound. Now I definitely think there was something dodgy going on there, doubt you would get that many points just with normal points and bonus points! Wonder what she was saving for! A share in Boots?! LOL

Nothing dodgy at all, she had never spent a penny of it since she took out the card when they launched. That was 10 years ago!
  • Has anybody got the No7 Compact Mirror and think like me that it's cr*p? It doesn't have a stand, the light is too dull, you can't hang it up... I don't see where I would use it. Thank goodness I got mine for only £4 ish last year but I certainly wouldn't recommend it.

Oh dear, was going to get that today for my daughter. Having second thoughts now.

Grrr:mad: was planning on the £19.99 being part of the £50 spend. Will have to go back to the drawing board!

Thanks for posting anyway it's always useful to read other's opinions of things before you waste any money buying rubbish.

Its only £12.49 unless there is 2 compact mirrors
  • £19.99 is the big mirror, it is electrical and a good mirror.

She's probably had LOADS of extra points vouchers to get that many points tho - even the most hardcore Bootser wouldn't spend £3,750 a year in Boots!!! :rotfl:

  • I bought the compact mirror and am reasonably happy with it. I was though, surprized by the size, I thought it would be smaller given that it is a compact mirror, so maybe a little large for popping into your handbag. That's the only drawback of it for me though.

However, it suits me just fine for home use. I'm short-sighted, so can't see too well putting eye make-up on without my glasses, obviously. :D
It's just the job for me, I can hold it in my hand & the magnifying side is a great help. :)

As others have said, the £19.99 mirror is the one on a stand & I'm sure it will be fine.
