i have a mobile phone and someone keeps ringing my number, but when i answer all i get is kids in the background screaming and messing about. The problem is i am in my 40's and dont know any kids that would have access to my number. I just gets on my nerves. the number begins eith 0754.....

is there anyway i can track the numbr or find out who is ringing it. Im thinking that to start with that it was a pure accident that someone rang me, maybe they pressed wrong keys, and by a miricle it was my number. But now its gettin to be a pain in the butt, especially when my phone rings at work.

No one speaks all i hear is loud voices like teenagers messing about outside and just sreaming and generally carrying on.

pain in th chuff this is

Probably some idiots goofing around - when you get a call, do not speak yourself and do not even bother listening - silent treatment might drive the idiots away.

You can also blacklist the number on your phone (most phones allow that - deny incoming calls from that particular number).
  • Maybe play them at their own game.

Answer your phone but don't say anything,....maybe put the phone down near the TV or something.
Hopefully boredom, or realising they're wasting loads of credit will stop them phoning back.

True if you leave them hanging it will use up there inclusive minutes/credit and hopefully they will stop.

Also as above you could see if you phone can blacklist them, or even get intouch with your operator and notify them of consistent nusience calls from the same number.

There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies
  • If you know the number then why do you answer it when they call?

Just ignore it, they will get fed up and go away!

if they are phoning you without withholding their number, they are really stupid.

Phone your local police station and say you are getting repeat nusiance calls and give them the number. This happened a long time back to my mother and the offender got phoned up by a policeman, the calls stopped. We were never told who it was but that is to be expected.
