    Worked for me on Empire.

Placed an order for £20.50, used code so have the items for 50p hopefully :) As I was going to buy the one item anyway, and the other needed to make it up to the £20 mark, but can be used as a stocking filler, I am very pleased now :)

Going to try Very, next :)

    Update:

I've ordered off empire and choice and the code went through on both. Have also taken a screenshot of the order summary.

On pending transactions on my creditcard page, the full price for both is showing as pending. This doesn't mean the full price will be taken for both.

I've ordered things I was going to buy anyway, so if the code doesn't work, I'm ok with that. Just a 'be careful' if you buy something on the basis of the discount, that you perhaps wouldn't have bought.

I'm trying to recall what happened last time this was on, and whether the full price was shown pending then, but I can't remember

I didn't see much I wanted as not prepared for xmas yet but ordered vacuum bags at £20 and got them for free. I'm still baffled how that goes through without a higher rate spend as most catalogues would give you £20 of a £50 or £75 spend. I paid with credit card and it clearly showed payment required £0.

    Me again :D

Received this in an email from choice :)

If you have paid for your order with a credit or debit card then we will process your payment in two stages. First we will charge your card with the full price of
the order then we will refund your card with the value of the discount. Please note that the payment and refund may not occur simultaneously but the
refund will be made no later than when your order is despatched.

  • Guys,

Just to give you a word of warning....

if the code was not sent to you, Littleswoods will reclaim the cash back off your card at a later date....

They have been doing this for months now and a lot of of people have been stung by this...

Take a read of the report from the BBC Website..

    news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/7061767.stm
Littlewoods has angered internet bargain hunters by demanding that an online discount voucher be paid back to the UK retailer.

The £25-off voucher was meant for a small number of specific customers, but got widely distributed through chat rooms and consumer-saving websites.

Two months later, Littlewoods has asked those it says were not eligible for the promotion to pay back the cash.

It says that the terms attached to the offer means it is within its rights.

    Terms and conditions

A spokesperson at the Liverpool-based firm said: "A £25 discount code was created for a small group of specific customers.
We are looking at a number of ways of ensuring this doesn't happen again
    Littlewoods spokesman

"This code was then circulated, without our authorisation, through a number of websites resulting in around 3,000 customers obtaining a discount for which they were ineligible.

Just thought i would give you the heads up...

    Rick
