Wedding Venues in London, any recommendations?

Hi Lynzpower, have you tried looking at any of the London universities / colleges? You'll most likely be getting married out of term time, and some of them have beautiful buildings. I know that Imperial College Union do functions and I'm sure most of the others do.0

No more info on venues in London, but we went to a humanist ceremony a few years back. (please bear with me as this was the only one that I've been to!)
The couple got the legal bits out of the way in a registry office with close family. Later in the day (5.30pm), they went to the reception venue where the humanist ceremony took place under the authority of an "official" (sorry, don't know her real title) from the British Humanist Society. It was really lovely and this was followed by the Evening Reception.Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 #18 £2021.83 declared0 -
If not a church, how about a crypt. I have a couple of friends who are intending to do their partnership ceremony there and it's pretty affordable. http://www.in-spire.org.uk/. It may be a slightly less glamorous area but the building is lovely and there's a quite park next door. There's also a hotel 5 mins up the road http://www.eurotravellerhotel.com which is not too expensive and you're 15/20 mins bus from the river and 25/30 from the West End. Hope your special day goes well!
I could make it better myself at home. All I need is a small aubergine...
I moved to Liverpool for a better life.
And goodness, it's turned out to be better and busier!0 -
Have you chose your colour theme yet Lynz, of am I bit too eager?
I have a cutting from a magazine a while back - getting married for under £1 - 000, some good tips on it - too late for me though.x0
