[QUOTE=lynzpower;26880323)_
I am staggered with the dumb troll calls on this thread as per usual. Do you really think that these sorts of discrimination are simply not out there in Britain today- of course they are.[/QUOTE]
Of course they are out there, but so are cases where the employee (of whatever colour) is behaving in a way the employer has issues with. Similarly, whilst there may be many issues which are posted about on here, every one of them is open to be used by a troll for their own ends.
So, I cant quite see why you would infer that because some people suspected all may not be as reported they are dumb, or that the scenario was not possible, or that you could extrapolate from those comments that we did not understand discrimination exists.

I found it dumb too. I am convinced in my own mind that it was genuine, there was no element of winding people up or exploiting what they said on the part of the OP, which would be what you would expect from a troll.

As far as I am concerned, the question is interesting, well worth discussing and ranking far above the troll or not debate. Credit for the OP returning tonight.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. That is your prerogative, others see it/saw it differently that is their prerogative.

I think it was the query re discrimination that prompted the questions. An unsuitable hairstyle is not dependent on ethnicity. if the query had been "can an employer force a change of hairstyle" then that would have elicited different responses.0 -
If you can send me one link via PM, I will not share that link with anybody else and will post back here to confirm that you have indeed been using the username "delilah666" for a long time (long before you joined here). That will convince me and go along way to convincing others that you're genuine, I think.delilah666 wrote: »... so i'm not willing to post the links publically on here but I can PM you the links if you really want me too.0 -

Just Google her username !!!!!!! :rolleyes:Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -
Ok. I can confirm that delilah666 has provided me with two examples of her using the name "delilah666" on other popular chat forums. She's been able to prove that she owns these accounts, for example by editing a post and adding the word "MSE" to it. One of her accounts was registered in 2006 showing that she has been using the name "delilah666" for years. I had a quick look through the previous posts and there are no previous examples of trolling that I can see.
It's good enough for me, so I'm sorry for insinuating you were a troll, I feel the chances are now that you are a genuine poster and not a troll. Hope you get some good help now.0 -

Phew. Thank goodness for that! I will sleep easier in my bed now that's been cleared up :rolleyes:
Un-fukcing-believable that MSE'ers will go to such lengths to 'prove' someone's user name on an Internet forum. What a suspicious bunch you all are. I was dubious - but the OP was so adamant she was genuine I accepted it - there was certainly no need for 'proof'.0 -
Thanks, I really appreciate the apology

Just an update, my boyfriends boss was off yesterday, so he couldnt speak to him, but he's got the number of a works union to see if he can get some advice of them. Thanks for everyone elses advice too.0 -
It's the principle of the thing, she said she could prove she had been using the name for a long time, I didn't believe her and said "Go on then, prove it!". She has gone to the effort and proved it so I'm doing my bit and making it clear that she has.Phew. Thank goodness for that! I will sleep easier in my bed now that's been cleared up :rolleyes:
If you're not interested then why bother replying sarcastically.0
