Looking For New Service Provider

I'm currenly paying BT for line rental, calls and paying Tiscali for my 2mb unlimited internet service. On average over the past six months this is working out around £38 / month .
Ideally I'd like to be paying one service provider for the lot (although this isn't critical) and have been looking at the post office's package of £25 / month for all 3, the line rental, phone service and internet up to 8mb.
My needs are typical everyday internet browsing, facebook / youtube, odd emails and 2 to 3 hours / day online play on Playstation.
My post code is SG4 8QE and I currently receive a good service but I'm just looking at uping my speed if I can but mostly a cost saving. I'm just hesitant at breaking what doesn't really need fixing.
I'd appreciate what anyone can suggest for me .
Thanks

You aren't in a great exchange no LLU providers available. You also need unlimited or near unlimited downloads for online gaming. Plusnet may be an option for you it might be worth having a look at their site. Most providers will advertise prices but if you are not unbundled add on an extra charge per month.0

Yeah, very rural village location although very close to exchange although speeds now being advertised as 8mb as opposed to 2mb five years ago.
Would ideally like to stick to an unlimited package just to cover myself.

Your line is not ADSL2+ yet due to the exchange aswell. Post Office or Plusnet may be suitable options in this scenario. If you are in a rural area I would not expect to see anything near to the 8mb but I would expect a better price you just need to find a provider who offers good LLU prices as well as good wholesale prices. That way if they do unbundle your exchange it would be easier to revert to their lower priced option.0
