The link isn't working so I can't see the offer details, but generally the "catch" is that you have to remember to send off the cashback requests at the right time, otherwise you don't get you money back!

Thanks for the replies, I'm always a bit (well loads) dubious about such offers.

Like I say, I think this looks genuine, but note the T&Cs:-

Please note: This is a chequeback offer - this means you pay the full line rental every month (as stated in the contract details) and in order to get the reduced line rental, you need to send back your 4th, 8th and 12th airtime bills and we will send you a cheque for each one.

The sum of the cheques plus any network contribution (shown above under "Automatic Money back") amounts to your total discount over the course of the contract. The reduced line rental is therefore what you would effectively pay over the course of the contract.

So the net cost is free, but only if you remember to send the chequeback requests in on time. They rely on a % of people who forget. Also, there is the possibility of a company going bust, but this is unlikely with the CPW.

Sign up to Quidco and go through their link, and you'll get £30 cashback too, then you'll make a profit (as long as you write those reminders on your calendar!).

if your current phone is unlocked or will take the O2 sim card then you can sell the 2600 as well (the contract is on the sim car , the phone is "Free" )

Cheers, but how do they make any money if you don't go over the minutes and of course remember to send off the correct vouchers

They are also down a phone and maybe £30 cashback.

sometimes CPW are doing it to hit a next Level commission from O2, if they need 200,000 sales or something to go from 5% to 10% comission on each sale and they are 2000 short, they will earn more money overall by doing this loss leader on a limited 2000 contracts

yeh, no catch...use Quidqo (as Browntoa said), sell the phone and you'l be making a profit on the contract! ;)
remember to cancel the insurance after the free month or else the contract wont work out to be free!
