02 Contract - Part Cancellation
Hi,
I have a contract with 02 Ireland. It is a business contract and has about 12 months left on it, my problem now is that i have let go 2 employees of mine and O2 is trying to charge me a cancellation fee to remove the numbers from the bill. This cannot be right can it? I mean i am still kepping my contract but obviously i cannot keep these 2 guys on my bill. They now want to to on pay as you go but o2 have said that the only way they can avoid the cancellation fee is to go onto seperate bill pay each (as i said i have left them go so they dont have jobs and could not afford this)
Is there any way around this situation for me at all? If i had the kind of money o2 are demanding to remove the numbers then i wouldnt be letting the guys go in the first place
Any help much appreciated

As these are business contracts, and your willing to pay them out im not too sure what the problem will be.
Shouldn't you have had the phones/Sim cards back from your ex-employees as they are not their property and no longer entitled to use them. If they refuse get 02 to block the Sim cards and have new Sim cards sent to you, which you can then just keep in a safe. This way your bill will still run with the additional 2 numbers but they will not be in use, which is kind of what you were looking for as you are willing to pay the contract stillAlthough no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0 -
If you've a contract for x mobile numbers then O2 are right I'm afriad. If you want to end any of them you have to pay the cancellation fee. There's no way round it, sorry. . .0
