Hi guys
Can anyone advise me as to whether this is a good deal or give me any advice on how I might haggle for a better deal. I've never actually had a contract but have been paying about £20 a month on the Sim only month by month contract with 600 mins Friends & family (3 other nos) and unlimited texts.
I fancied the Blackberry 8900 so I rang up to cancel this thinking I'd try for a contract and as an existing customer was advised to upgrade to a 24mth contract - 300 mins, Unlimited texts and unlimited internet @ £29.37 inc VAT. And obviously inc the Blackberry 8900.
What dya think?
Thanks guys;)

All depends upon whether you use more than 300 minutes. How many of the 600 do you use now? If you use 301 plus, work out the additional cost.0

I was offered and took the following,
HTC magic
300 mins
unlimited texts
unlimited web
18 month contract
£23 a month
Currently pay £14 a month for 75 mins, 100 texts on a 12 month contract so for an extra £9 a month I get the above. Happy with that as other offers to get it for £22 a month involved either cashback and or quidco.
I was given a price of £24.50 but as I have mobile broadband with them I got a further discount of £1.50.0 -
You can get cheaper deals with buymobilephones.net for that phone with blackberry plans (which i guess means email access) - as an example £20 for 24 months with 3 months free - you can add internet on top (not sure if you need to if you have a blackberry plan) and also get some quidco cashback.0

Thanks all!
I've just been on Vodafone website and I can get exactly the same deal with 300 more mins (600 mins) for 53p more = £30 per month!!
And the salesman said they were doing me a special deal (£29.47 per mth to be exact) because I was an existing customer and it would be classed as an upgrade. What a load of *!*?!
I've also spotted that GiveorTake.com are giving £90 cashback on new Vodafone contracts - so being an existing customer means nothing!
Can't wait for him to ring me back!!! :mad:0
