That's great news and I can't thank you enough.
Could I ask you if there is an antivirus program you would recommend. We have just bought a laptop as a Xmas present for one of our kids. I have used AVG on all our previous computers but it did not prevent this happening so I would be happy to purchase one if it would make a difference.

Well if your willing to pay id go with kaspersky (Look on amazon for a cheap price)
Make sure you use the 32 bit AVG removal tool before installing ANY other av

PC TOOLS FIREWALL
SPYBOT
MALWAREBYTES (As a secondary scanner)
FIREFOX with the NOSCRIPT plugin (Makes browsing 'bomb proof' (So long as the foolish dont unlock EVERYTHING))
Best advice is be wise ~ dont click dodgy looking links or popups. Dont open every email attachment if you dont know what they are etc etc etc:idea:0
