passing over of orange contract

i have a mobile phone with orange its on contract but the contract is registered in my OH's name and woth her address. the bills and all account information is sent to my address and bills are paid by direct debit from my account. the contract has now been held for 9 months with no late or missed payments. the contract was taken out by my OH because i failed there credit check on my application. does anybody know what the likely hood of them is transfering the contract over to myself as i have proved i can manage the acccount responsibly. any advice would be appreciated many thanks

As the account is in his name, the paperwork will prove that he manages the account responsibility as it will be on his credit file, regardless of who pays the bill all they have no record is a name and an address, and a direct debit. As the contract has been going for sometime it maybe possible, but you will likely have another credit check down on you before the transfer would be done.

As DarkConvict says above, if you can pass the credit check Orange will move the acc into your name (or anyone else's for that matter). Only you know if you've a chance of passing the check ?
