Think you can still get it in Waitrose though - so they will probably sell the cat one too
I've just checked mysupermarket.com and it seems the only supermarket that now stocks it is Ocado/Waitrose!
That's really strange! I wouldn't have though it would be a price issue as it's no more expensive than Purina One and Iams, although it is double the price (face value) of Whiskas and Go-Cat.
Maybe they tried to squeeze the price down to the point he (Joe) couldn't afford to supply them!

And finally... who is running Sainsbury's?
You may have been watching the Channel Four series ‘I’m running Sainsbury’s’.
At Pets Kitchen and joesnaturalpetstore we have been watching the series with great interest as we would also like to know who is running Sainsbury’s and how their decisions are made.
Sadly, Sainsbury’s have decided to stop selling our pet foods and give extra shelf space to Nestle (owners of Bakers, Purina ONE, and Go Cat), Proctor & Gambel (owners of IAMS) and Mars Inc (owners of Pedigree, Kiteket, Cesar and Whiskas)
It is always a struggle being a small, independent company when these gorilla’s are on the block – but we were very shocked at the Sainsbury’s decision, given that we have higher sales rates than a great many of the products sold by the big multi-nationals mentioned above
So, your favourite cat or dog food may no longer be available in your regular supermarket.
WHAT CAN YOU DO?
Firstly, all our products (and more) are available through our
Secondly, we hope that we will be available in Sainsbury’s again in the near future and we are meeting the buyer soon to discuss getting our products back into their stores.
Writing to the Pet food buyer at Sainsbury’s expressing your displeasure at not being able to buy your
regular cat or dog food may well help us.

We are all now working hard to expand our sales in Tesco and Waitrose and making our on-line service even better and more effective.
By buying on-line you will help us to continue to grow the company and also keep your pets as happy as can be.
is from the July email I get from petskitchen - cant find the one about tescos yet - will keep looking.Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -
Nope - cant find it. Im sure it was something to do with Tesco dropping all their natural diets though (or something like that) they have got rid of a lot of their "packet" foods (as I call them) - still sell the tins - but not so many trays certainally in our one. Not so many types of dry food either - can still get Iams, bakers, pedigree and their own - but only one or two types of wagg now, and one auterky...Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0

Thanks for digging all this out, it's very interesting! I'll have a look to see what our Tesco is selling. The online shopping site usually reflects what's available at your local store so will check my son's too who lives across country.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

Wow! Expensive! Also, cats don't eat grains, so why is this a good cat food?0 -

make comparisons with Whiskas, Go-Cat, Felix etc.
It's good because when I feed mine this the sensitive one doesn't get `dandruff' like she does when she eats supermarket sold food:T. & yes it's a treat as I normally feed them Burns.0 -
Burns may not be available in supermarkets but their delivery is free and pretty fast too.
Pity my dog went off Burns since she had tried Nature's Diet (raw kind of thingys)....
:rolleyes:0
