    That is the achilles heel of going down that route. Do you want the big fight when they find a non OEM part?

    My wifes suzuki is going in for its recall next week and its not a problem for me as the car has been totally trouble free unlike most of my other new cars. The dealer servicing is also cheap @ £130 for 1st 2 services and the last major service @27k was £205. they also replaced the tyres like for like for £220 undercutting my best quotes inc costco and online

    Its not a big issue esp when you look at some of the faults on other cars that should be a recall but customers are footing the bill when they fail

    No it doesn't, the Block Exemption rules that came out over 5 years ago prevent this.
