heating not working

As the op has changed the HCV and the fans are not working either. I'd suspect the issue is with the controls rather than the other parts of the system

Sort the fan out 1st i would have thought, You wont get any heat out of the heater unless you have the fan running enough to push the air through the matrix.

um i by the description its x reg yes x reg f fiesta! bleeding the air out is easy theres a bung screw on the underside of the rad when car is wam or at optimum temp pressure forces air to the bottom of the rad undoing the bung screw slightly releases the air. or easiest way is to warm up car to op temp useing a towel open the water bottle cap slowly and slightly till air disperses, heater matrix fan or motor is working its blowing cold air op said, changed the obvious so i would change the heater matrix, available at most motor factors, if OP'S OH has experience with cars and knows how to dismantle the dash safely its a days job.

HI guys, thanks so much for all your replies. We have tried everything now and its still not working, so OH is going to order a new matrix and a new fan sender switch to see whether that will fix the job.

Does anyone know where to find the fan sender switch on this type of fiesta?
