I press F2 & go into "Boot Device Configuration"
 Then I get lost.............
This is what I'm faced with
 > Removable Device Priority [Press Enter]
 > Hard Disk Boot Priority [Press Enter]
 First Boot Device [CD ROM]
 Second Boot Device [Hard Disk]
 Third Boot Device [removable]
 Boot Other Device [Enable]
Can anyone tell me which of these I need to twiddle with?0

I'm not sure the boot order is the problem. Even if the floppy is the last device in the boot order, the BIOS will look for it when it turns on if it thinks it ought to be there and complain when it doesn't find it..
Let us know the make/model of your PC MrsE and we can find some instructions for your BIOS hopefully and pick out the option you need to change.0

Done that re-booted & its still doing the same as post one.
Went back in & redone it, resaved it (just in case) & its still doing it.
I did twiddle with a few of those F2 screens though:o:o:o:o:o
 Could it be another?0

Forget about the boot order. Look for the option labelled "diskette" "floppy drive" or something like that and set it to "None"0

 These are my F2 options
 System Info Power ...........................Management Setup
 Standard CMOS Features ...................Load Defaults
Advanced BIOS Features ...................Set Supervisior Password
Boot Device Configuration ...................Set User Password
Advanced Chipset Features ................Save & Exit Set Up
Intergrated Peripherials .......................Exit Without Set up
Which one should I go into 0 0

If yours is like mine it'll be in "Standard CMOS features" and is labelled "Floppy Drive A". Set that option to "None"
If it's not there for some reason take a look around the other option screens and you'll soon find it.0
