Hi Guys,
Littlewoods won't let me speak to a manager - they said all their managers were in meetings and couldn't speak to me for 48 hours. Is this allowed/acceptable?

Yes. Why do you ask?0

Of course. You may have rights to have your problem fixed, but idf you can't speak to the organ grinder, just take the monkey's word at face value, record it in correspondence as evidence of being unreasonable, if they are in the wrong and take your complaint from there.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

I would ring head office if I was you, their number is 0844 292 1000
They are part of the Shop Direct Group
(Efficient use of the inbternet and a 1 minute search brings you wondrous things)0 -
That is one marathon meeting they're inSquirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
Now 20% cooler0 -
Perhaps it would help if you gave us some more information. What has happened that you want/need to speak to a manager.0

0844 292 1000 The geographic number is 0151 432 1000 for shop direct / littlewoods. Ask for customer services. Use this if calling from a mobile, it should work out cheaper.0

Refuse to hang up until you speak to a manager as most contact centres will have a system in place that you cannot hang up on a customer unless they are abusive.0

Also worth Googling the CEO's name on google! Then check the investor relations page of their website and figure out how their email address book is set - example : gordon.brown@littlewoods.co.uk.
Then email the CEO and cc in as many main board directors as possible - now heres the neat bit...........plus the name of the person you have been dealing with on the phone.
I have tried this with Virgin Holidays (I emailed and sent Richard Branson the letter to his home addresss!!!)
BT
Abbey(tricky Spanish email addresses!)
It works. Be professional and just state the case and ask for it to be reviewed. Always mention poor service where you have received it.

so did you get a reply from Richard Branson?0

Hello
No, but a week later Virgin Holidays seemed very keen to respond to the issues, not only did they refund my £500 holiday deposit but they also compensated me £150 for my trouble.
