Reference iphone price war this will happen in January when Vodafone get the iphone!
Ref network Orange top dogs over O2 & When Orange and T Mobile merge even better!0 -
I too am having a similar debate firstly whether to get an iphone and then secondly which network, I am currently with Orange and get free broadband as part of my contract. I do wonder though whether I would carry on receiving this should I switch to an Iphone, does anyone know whether this is viable?0

02 easy!
02 are offering 3 months free sky sports & espn to thier contract holders......
Also 02 customer service is worth 10 times that of Orange who are awful!0 -
If you were tethering wouldnt you have the iPhone connected to the laptop via the USB port ? In which case it would charge from the USB port as well wouldnt it ?
Yes it would, but normally most people would be tethering when they are out and about and not near a power source. Therefore the laptop battery would not last as long due to the fact it is charging the iPhone and creating a constant power draw from the USB port.0 -
O2 has excellent customer services, and I know, cos I used to phone on a monthly basis whilst I was changing tariffs, swapping between iPhone and web bolt-on, as away from wi-fi, the iPhone was useless. Around London, Herts, Beds and Cambs, 3G was never available, making most of the features redundant. Gave up in the end, sold the iPhone and got a Blackberry, as it is much more efficient at using data, and as it compresses data so well, can work fine even with 2G.0

assuming coverage, customer service and tariffs are similar on O2 and orange then the difference boils down to the download limit on orange. i am a moderate internet user currently but no doubt will increase with iphone, is the ornage limit likely to be a problem ??0

i'm going orange when i upgrade my o2 iphone early next year! orange has 2 for 1 on movie tickets!!!0

don't forget that tesco mobile is due to get the iphone before christmas. maybe they will launch a price war? :TThanks,

Actually, O2s mobile data is not unlimited, their T&Cs state that they consider 500MB fair usage, and if you want to use tethering, they will make you pay £10 or so a month extra.
And if you have no 3G coverage, it is SSSSSSLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOWWWWWW!!!!!!0
