So in order for your shop to save you money you would have to sell +60 items? Is that correct?

Gosh, I am being blonde this morning - and it must be bad for me to say that....as a blonde I get fed up of that saying!!

If I remember correctly eBay shop insertion fees are just £0.03 (it used to be £0.05).

The FVF for an item up to £29.99 is now 6.75% (it used to be 5.25%). The FVF for an item between £30.00-£599.99 is now 3.75% (it used to be 3.25%). FVF for items over £600 is still 1.75%.

Oh, that's not too bad I suppose.

Cheers again for the info
  • I notice the eBay shop subscription fee is free for the first 30 days. Does that mean I could open an eBay shop, run it for 30 days then close it again and avoid paying the £6?
I can see how a shop would be a big moneysaver for sellers of new goods, who regularly sell several of the same item, but I'm thinking it's unlikely to be worthwhile for someone like me, selling mainly secondhand items, of which I almost always have only one of each.
