Lidl milk

Oddest thing - popped into Lidl to pick up some milk and not only was their milk cheaper than Morrisons (99p vs £1.50) but it actually was Morrisons milk - with Morrisons on the label. Is this normal? Makes me feel slightly silly for paying extra in Morrisons for exactly the same product...

I used to work in the Lidl RDC and often had things come in with other supermarket/shop labels on, we used to use it if it was urgent stuff, like bread milk etc, but non urgent things ie tissues with Boots labels on we would return.

  • It's a £1 in Iceland! I cant understand why people want to pay so much more when it is'nt necessary!!
Not bought milk in any other store for weeks now - my Iceland is on my route home from work so it's a doddle to pick up when needed. Unfortunately can't say the same my nearest branch of Lidl!! but I would if I could save money!!

Never had that problem myself. Are you checking the dates on the label before you buy?

4pts for £1 in Iceland was the cheapest around (cheaper than 2 litres for £1 elsewhere) but Asda had 1% fat milk for (I think from memory) 75p for 2 litres last week.
