Itchy legs due to shaving or stubble?

I used to have this until I got myself an epilator, bit more painful to use but you get used to it, and I think it makes the hairs finer, not had any itching problems since I started (years ago now)

i use mens shaving gel to shave my legs and this works fine for me,ive tried all the womens ones fragranced and unfragranced and they always seemed to aggrivate my legs where the mens doesnt,i also have an epilator but it hurts (im such a woosie lol)

They have improved in recent years, I had one about 10 years ago that was too painful to use, then got one about 3 years ago that is far better,

Sorry to sound like Ted H, but taking vitamin D cured my itchy legs. once I realised it was mostly outwith summertime that my legs, particularly my shins, were itchy. I also used to get itchy forearms and base of back itching too, now that's all gone.:D

I can now tell when I've forgotten to take my vitamin D, as my shins start to itch...
