    I'm just very very thankfull to you all for being there with us in our hour of need. I have SO many questions but they have mainly been answered by you lovely peeps.........hubby is back now so atleast we go together in morning, hand in hand, armed with 2 (maybe 3 if copier holds up) copies lol

    just been to draw last few quid out of bank and its run out of money!!!!!!! is that an omen or what!!! lol

  • another quick question sorry....

    we have a barclays basic account which we opened on advise from cccs, will they let us keep it open do u think? we have no debt with them and i when i rang the bank they assured me that it they dont think the OR will have an interest in it....but now there is a couple of hundred quid left in we cant take out and i'm worried they'll keep it....does anyone have any experience to help us pls?

    Just make sure you inform the OR of the account and that it is your day to day running account.

    He/She will understand that you need this and will probally be happy that you have already mae arrangments :T

  • If you are dealing with a county court, the court will need the completed forms and 2 copies of each before it can accept your petition for bankruptcy. If you are taking your petition to the High Court, you won't need any extra copies.

    If the money can be considered as living expenses ie for direct debits then the OR will be reasonable and not sanction you for this.

    Bring it to their attention when they contact you and you should be fine.

    Once you have been made BR you can contact Barclays and they may freeze the account for a few days but once the OR has declared no interest you can go ahead and keep using it.
