They're fine if you pop into their stores and buy direct. Website seems like a lot of bother in comparison!Tim0

Why does it come with wet wipes LOL0

Perhaps the wet wipes for in case someone's got MRSA??
I would suspect a database error on this as it states that 'runners are sold separately', or product coming in separate packages. It is listed as a 'British company' (French owned) in companies house - see website, even though it's head office is in France. Just as companies like ASDA (owned by American Walmart) are subject to British legislation I would have thought Pixmania would be also.
Incidentally I've just purchased an LED TV from them and they, through their website, kept me informed with the process of the order right down to a 4 hour delivery window. It was delivered perfectly on time and in perfect condition. So some of us have had no problems.
The delivery note calls the branch 'Dixons Pixmania UK'.0 -
As an aside, here's some great advertising I just found at Pixmania. LOOK AT THE VALUE!
(click for bigger)Squirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
Now 20% cooler0 -
If I were Prime Minister, Pixmania would be one of the first stores I'd ban from trading in the UK.The man without a signature.0

A definition of madness is............
"To do the same thing time after time [ie ordering with Pixcr4p] and expect the result to change [ie for them to get it right on occasion]"0 -
Yes, this is false advertising. Legally a company should only show a depiction of what will actually arrive. Some suppliers will send website images of how a item can look (I too have been caught out with this before) but it's the sites responsibility to either explain in the text what will be delivered or demand a different image.
Make a complaint to trading standards as they have breached the law with the current way this product is displayed.0 -
I ordered some 5:1 PC speakers from Pixmania a while back and they delivered a different model, without explanation.
Ok, yes, it was the top of the range speakers I got at an amazing bargain price, but I wasn't inclined to try my luck again :rotfl:
The other thing was that the parcel (25kg!) came all the way from France and I didn't really want to send it back0
