I posted this a few days ago on another board but is relevant here.

Just found a free phone on a 12 month contract with 12 months free line rental. I got a nokia 3100 of this company (https://www.mobileshop.com) last September on a similar deal, and my cashback has come through no problems!

It sounds too good to be true, but check it out

Free Siemens C75

You get a free England themed World Cup Siemens C75. So it isn't the best phone in the world, but use the sim card in another phone and you still get 12months free line rental!

Hope this helps someone

Line Rental is £35/month on O2 250 but other tariffs are available FREE for 12 months

There are number of deals around like this...

My wife just got a Motorola Pebl on O2 - 200 mins any network, anytime + 100 texts + free voicemail. Actual cost to us is nil when you figure in £30 cashback from quidco and from phone retailer.

Better still, I am actually being paid £30 this year for taking a Moto RAZR on the same 12 month contract!

I can heartily recommend Reestit Muttons' website for info on the best phone deals out there - it is in my opinion beautifully presented and very informative.

Each retailer gets rewarded for introducing new customers to the network, they pass some of this on to you via cashback. Min contract is usually 1yr then they hope to hang on to your custom and start making money out of you. Ive used cashback deals for years, you must be diligent about when to put your claims in though or you lose the cash back, also teminate your contract at the end of th tie in and get another deal, you will have to change networks though if you want to keep your number.
