It suggests you will be refunded the money if the products are returned (although not the shipping fee).

I too got done by a well known credit file company online, they kept taking money from my bank each month, when I thought I was only going to pay a one off monthly transaction , I went in the bank to get a new card but still the money came out each month, I too couldnt find their telephone number and address, after 3 months and desperation I went to CAB they told me the only way that it could be cancelled was by me speaking to them , so after 3 month of tearing my hair :mad:out I did eventually get it stopped , to me its definately day light robbery , I will never ever again get caught out it really taught me a lesson, the worry does your head in , I hope for you that the outcome will be in your favour and quick, please keep us posted .

Isn`t there a 7 day cooling off period for long distance transactions/contracts? If paid by card complain to your company? Any other ideas?

Or could contact trading standards for false advertising but a long shot at getting your money back.

Do be careful with websites you don`t know about especially if it asks for card details.
No. It only applies to UK based companies - this is US based.

http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=2069381just found this number for uk customers

    0-808-120-1987

again 001 in front is required, its listed as toll free but you will be charged
Not sure that is true - I read it as 0808 1201987. 0808 is a freephone number (from a landline).

Okay. I have cancelled my card and explained the situation to my bank. They can't guarantee it but were helpful enough. Then I called the website's hotline: 0-808-120-1987
Looks like I'll just have to return the product when I receive it. They said I can use it as much as a like and then return by Nov 29th to not be charged the $87.62. Or if returned within 30 days the $87.62 will be refunded.
Not looking forward to P&P and they've already charged my account for the delivery of the item. Let's hope I get white teeth out of this I guess ¬_¬

I have done the same thing as Noswor with a company called Clearlift Ultra based in US. I ordered trial size of face cream and then once i had forwarded payment for shipping, read that they would send me monthly supplies of this at a cost of approx. £50 per month unless I cancel my membership. Due to time difference I was only able to contact them the next day and cancelled my membership and was given a cancellation number. I was told that providing the goods were returned to them by 18th November I would not be charged any further. They sent an e-mail with a UK address to return it to, but as of today I have not received the goods and am starting to panic about returning the item in time. I ordered the goods on 26th October. I have on line banking with my credit card and am keeping a regular check on transactions. After reading through replies I am now going to write to my credit card company advising them of my cancellation and the cancellation number I was given. I have learnt a lesson the hard way and will NEVER do this again
  • Hi noswar, I am in exactly the same boat. For the last two days I have been frantically trying to sort this out. If you google where can i buy dazzle white in the uk and scroll down the page there are some usefull telephone numbers, email addresses and addresses on there. There is also an office in Bedford. Could you let me know if this is the address you have been advised to send it back to please.

That's what I said to them but they said that T&Cs were there. Well done on getting copies of the pages.
I'm going to use the product as much as possible for a week then send it back for the refund. I thought the trial product and the $87.64 product were going to be separate, but they're the same thing. It's all very stupid.
Let me know how yours works out!
