HELP! Virgin Media won't leave us alone

Can anyone help me stop Virgin Media from sending us junk mail?

I have lost count how many times I have sent stuff back, telephoned and written to them to stop them using our personal information. The only action taken was to remove the previous owners name and use the term "occupier". Tried calling them several times and they send me around in circles or cut me off (thank you very much). A confirmation letter was eventually received from them stating they acknowledged my complaint but no follow up - the junk mails and harassment from cold callers continue.

CISAS are not interested as we are not customers!

Just because the previous owners of this house were cable users, this does not give them the right to harass us.

Are you registered with MPS? If so a complaint to them might help.

You seem to be working yourself up over nothing.

This stuff must be easily recognisable without opening it. I'd just dump it into the recycling but if you want a little revenge just write return to sender on the envelopes and pop a bunch into the postbox when it is convenient.

Throw the letters in the bin.

Why are they ringing you? Do you have a BT line or a Virgin Media line? Is it a new number?

And if you were with cable, you would be getting these letters from BT. Go figure.
