Ferryscoob _ I am sure one of the many people who have been dealing with blackhorse will post up their advice for free without charging you anything - upfront or otherwise - personally I can highly recommend the good people of the MSE PPi forum

    Well said, great advice. :T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T

I have just sent my SAR to Black Horse as I remember being sat in the office with my husband being told that we would not get the loan unless we took out the PPI. I think We have actually had 2 loans from them....so hopefully get something back.

I just had recent success with Black Horse for PPI claim £2744.

Good luck, I'll be watching out for your post on the PPI success forum.

    Gerry x ;)

    Thanks Marshallka,

What a coincidence, I was honestly just thinking about you. Sorry to hear about the distressing time you’ve been having with your daughters treatment. You must be worried sick my heart goes out to you.

I’m waiting for a lung transplant and have many close contacts within medical profession, I also used to work within Pharmaceutical Industry. Please let me know if I can assist you in any way, maybe sourcing info or research on drugs, new treatments etc.

    Your in my thoughts.

Hi Gerry, thanks for this but sorry to hear of your troubles. My troubles are little compared to yours. My daughter is not "ill" in herself or most of the time but just needs things adjusting we think (more like a new mother that does not panic)... We are seeing someone on 22nd December so not long to wait...

Hope you get the transplant soon Gerry. I cannot begin to imagine what that must be like.

  • Hi just wanted to add to anyone else claiming back from Blackhorse that my hubby initially received a letter saying FOS not relevant as his loan predated the agreement. After reading threads from others on here he responded to this with a second letter asking them to reconsider and reiterating why he felt he had been missold and also saying that he now believed that the FOS would handle blackhorse complaints from ANY date (as someone had posted on here too). As a result of this second letter, he has received aletter offering all PPI back and 8% interest as a goodwill gesture, no admittance on blackhorse part etc... So my advice to others is please - keep going! And thanks to anyone who has posted their story as the advice from others has really helped us!
    xx

Blimey, well done to you. Seems like something has happened to BH in that they are accepting complaints now whereas before it was just a matter of "go away". I wish other companies would also follow on this regardless of dates. It gives so much hope to others claiming from BH. Thanks for posting.
