I like the greggs steak bakes but half the time they are cold why can't they have proper ovens like other bake shops:question:
Hi, I work for Greggs - they can only get baked once and then are put on display. During busy times more are baked to meet demand, but if it's quieter they'll be there longer. We're told they're not advertised as hot or on a hotplate because otherwise you'd have to pay VAT... So if you wanted them to always be hot they'd be more expensive!
