PS3 wifi connection

I'm new to PS3. can any one help me out to set up wifi in PS3.

You have an option as Network settings in your PS3 welcome screen check that.

I assume youd know how to setup a wifi connection on a laptop?
Exactly the same with ps3. Just 'auto' scan for networks. Pick yours, put in the password and it should all work

Yeah I have connected in my Laptop but in PS3 I tried with Easy mode. It is showing page cannot be displayed error.

Also it is saying no Ethernet cable

If the security on your wireless router includes MAC filtering, the first thing you need to do is ascertain the PS3's own unique MAC ID and then add that to the permitted access list stored on your router.

Otherwise, no matter what settings you apply to the PS3, your router will not permit it to join your wireless network.

Im pretty sure it is
