I've already bought the wormer, same as what the vet has given me, so i know what to look for, not bought the flea stuff yet..

I have heard that Frontline isn't as good anymore, (maybe just to people who use it all the time lol) When I went to my Vet they recommended stronghold. Not sure how good this is yet as I haven't actually tried it but may be worth asking your Vet.

Lloyds Chemist Frontline Rip Off - I just returned a box of 6 pipettes of Frontline for Cats to the high street chemist Lloyds are charging an outrageous £28.88!!

I see at chemist direct the same item is £16 or so BUT they stuff on £2.95 postage - I can' be bothered to buy more stuff to take me over the £40 free delivery requirement.

Any tips for cheap on high street ot lower postage online?

Blimey - who would have thought that accusations of conspiracy would fly? Thanks to everyone's contributions - which all proved the point that Lloyds clearly should check their pricing.

I went with one of the very first sugestions but will not say who for fear of being accused of being in their pocket.

btw - my puss cat is eagerly awaiting arrival of the package (delivered free of charge)

Don't worry, you wouldn't get accused of being involved with a company purely for mentioning them. There are significant tell tale signs when somebody is promoting their own company ;)

Glad you managed to get some considerably cheaper than your first port of call! :)

We used to use stronghold all the time and it was finr. The only problem is its not cheap if you have multiple animals. We now buy it frontline online (the prescription strength)with a prescription from the vet. Even if the vet charges for the prescription (ours doesn't) its still normally cheaper than buying directly from them. We have had no problems and it works fine
