Who gives the better Retention deals?
I'm trying to think ahead, but thinking is hard enough as it is for me!
I don't personally rate Vodafone's price plans, and although T-Mobile's Flext deal's are pretty impressive, they don't seem to be very good with retentions.
So that leaves me with Three, o2 and Orange.
I'm swaying towards Orange to take out a deal through them, but when it comes to the end of my contract, I want to try and put myself in the best possible position to get an even better deal than what I would have been on.
I do know that anything can happen in 12/18 months, so Network A may give the best deals currently, but they could give the worst come a year down the line, but on current form, who would you say gives the best deals?
Any opinions welcome!
Thanks!

I've been on vodafone for a few years now, and I've found their retentions department very good. Although the tariffs aren't great, the retentions department has a lot of flexibility with changing prices and adding free extras. It's more a case of asking them if they can do x tariff for half price and throw in a text bundle or whatever you're looking for in particular.
Unfortunately I haven't got any experience of other companies to compare it to.0 -
Took LOTS of work for Mrs V to get a good deal from Voda - been with them 20+ years, too, but without strong haggling, we'd have been on o2 by now.
o2 do seem to be keen to keep you, once you're there, but their shops & online direct offers aren't the best.
& I think the current Orange animal tariffs TOTALLY confusing & wouldn't consider them.

Must confess I wasn't overly impressed with Vodafone's retentions department... they only offered me £2 off the normal price of my tarrif, and seemed very surprised and reluctant to give me an upgraded handset for free, but if you threaten to leave the network enough then they eventually cave-in!
I'm only sticking with them because £19 a month is about all I can afford as a student, but I've heard great things about O2 and Orange so I might go with them once my new contract expires!0
