What is this, my computer has gone haywire.
I've downloaded Zone Alarm, then a major problem occured
Windows kept shutting down as I was opening it,
It won't let me do a system restore
I've deleted Zone Alarm and my programmes except Office have disappeared from the Add/Remove list on the Control Panel
I haven't got aclue what's going on

The runtime error was appearing when I was trying to connect to IE but if I connect thro Firefox it's alright0

I have had this in the past. It is caused by an add-on being installed in IE that requires Microsoft C++ runtime (which must not be present on your PC). In IE6 if you go to Tools->Manage Add-ons it will show you what add-ons you have. I can't tell you which one is the problem but there may be a clue in the messagebox that appears .. you need to disable/delete that particular add-on. If you can not identify which one it is then disable them one by one until the problem goes away (I would then recommend you delete that add-on).
IvanI don't care about your first world problems; I have enough of my own!0 -
Thanks IvanOpinion
