Hello all,
Has anyone had experience with onetel broadband customer service? I think this is the same company as talktalk.
I have been with them for the best part of 5 years, the broadband service is ok but not flawless but it was just easier to stay with the same company. They have overcharged me in the past on numerous occasions without any reason but these were resolved with no problems and they have been fine for the past year or two.
I have just checked my bank statements and seen that they have overcharged me by £14 a month since May (approx £100)! I have telephoned them and they refused to refund the money or make it up to me in any other way and they told me a manager was not in so I need to ring back tomorrow but he was unlikely to refund any money or make this up to me in any other way.
From talking to someone in the accounts department this happens a lot, has anyone else had similar problems that could give me some advice on what to do?
Many thanks for any help, much appreciated.

Well they have said that they only usually give a months refund as it was my responsibility to check how much they take out regularly.
I know this is absolute rubbish but it's trying to get my money back which is the hard thing!
I think either way I will leave them, it is the second time it has happened, I spoke to one of my friends and she said they did exactly the same thing to her, it's not a way to run a company!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. True, but you have hardly helped by not checking your bank statements for the last 6 months. Migrate and you can ditch TT.No free lunch, and no free laptop

I spoke to a manager today and they refunded me the money. This is the second time it has happened, I think I am going to leave and join another company, I spoke to a friend and she had the same problem with them, I definitely wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
I think I will check my bank statements more often, I only usually check my credit card statement is zero every month!
