I can't for the life of me get this thing to download just keep getting a page asking for all kinds of unecessary details and asking me to check for verification email which after three attempts still hasn't arrived in my newly set up hotmail account what the hell am I doing wrong?

I just went through the process, got the email straight away. Perhaps you might need to check your junk mail folder?

Can I ask if I save a word document in word 2007 will there be any problems opening it in any older versions of word?

I have downloaded it but I have a quick question before I install it: I currently have an older version of Office installed - can I use this installation as an "upgrade" or should I remove the older version then install the new one? I am especially concerned that my Outlook emails are not lost.....

Back up your emails. Mine worked like an upgrade but I don't know which version you have.

I've used this for 2 months or so, but not without problems.
Both Excel & Outlook crash frequently and will send an error report to microsoft. The program will reopen but will crash again if you try the last action again :-(
