    Well part of the reason behind companies releasing beta software is to test things like that out on willing volunteers. I wouldn't install it without doing a full backup first.

    Beta is pre-release software.
    you try it out and if any problems you tell them about it if you so wish.

    Have used some beta software many times in the past, have had no system worries at all, especially from Microsoft Products.

    What do I need to do to the download file OPPLUS-EN.EXE before running it, as running it directly or off a cd I burned, it comes up with "The installation of this package failed."

    Dump the file to your hard drive, then open !
