PAC code.
Hi,
My new pay and go phone turns up from orange tomorrow. I have a PAC code from o2 and wondered when I phone orange to register the phone and give the PAC code I will then need to call o2 to inform them.
I won't have enough cash until Monday to pay the difference off and just wanted to know if when I call o2 will they want payment then or will they send out a bill?
Or can I chose for orange to port the number for say, Monday or Tuesday?
Just worried that if I do register it, then call o2 and cant pay til Monday I'll be without a phone for a few days.
Cheers in advance!
just to add i want to do this change as quick as possible so i dont have to owe o2 anymore of my money!

There's no need to call O2, the port goes through automaticly.
It also takes 2 to 3 working days to go through, its not done the moment you call. The sim will have a number attached to it which will work until the port goes through and your old number will carry on until it moved over...0
