T-Mobile Help
Hello
I need some advice please on the following situation.
I took out a T-Mobile contract December 2008 on a 12 month contract at £39.15 per month. I lost the sim card shortly after receiving the phone. Throughout the year, I rang a couple times to ask for a new sim card but never received one. I wanted a seperate contract for my business and one for my personal use. I had another contract but with O2 and with not using as many minutes as I predicted, ended up using my O2 one for my business too - hence I didn't end up tracing the sim card up as much as I probably should have.
I've been on the phone to T-Mobile and explained the situation and they're basically branding me as a liar, saying I didn't ring up and they would not refund any of the money. Needless to say that I've just given my 30 days notice and it'll be cancelled on 10th Dec.
Is there anything I can do to try and recoup any of the money? I've paid £480 for a 8 second phone call and 2 text messages

Find it hard to believe that you lose a sim and do not bother to get new one - wait nearly 12 months and now want a refund?
I cannot believe that and t-mobile will not either - it was your responsibility to get them to send you a sim card and there were plenty of time and ways to contact them if you had tried. There is no reason for them to refund anything.0 -
I'm with OneADay on this, whilst i can believe you didn't chase it up if you got service from another provider, you will be expected to pay as you signed a contract and agreed to pay £40 a month. You didn't request another SIM card after the other one did not arrive, so you would have needed to have kept asking and reclaimed back the monthly rental on a pro-rata amount until the SIM card arrived.
As you failed to chase this up until now, They would not be aware of this issue and can't be held liable.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0 -
Sorry to say but im with DarkConvict And OneADay on this one also. I'm not sure why you wouldn't have recieved a new SIM card as its a simple procedure to send a new one out ( Ususal arrives within 3-5 days) also costing you £10 for the replacement. But if you have paid for a replacement card everytime you have called i would say you may get a refund on that as T-Mobile could check that the SIMs were never used.
How many times did you chase the matter up?0
