Anyone notice now?

That these boards are a lot more calm and civilised now that house prices are rising.

Could it be that the bulls are now behaving themselves instead of taking things personally? After all the bears have been used to rising house prices for a long time so they wont take it to heart as much.

Anyone else see this?

The boards are calm and civilised because the majority of bears have left or been banned :)

Surely it's more of a case of virtually everyone with a bearish viewpoint being banned by the moderators which is all very democratic - NOT. So we can only guess where the moderators' sympathies lie.

  • This forum has descended into a few bulls, who spend every waking hours on here (chucky,Hamish et al) frantically agreeing with each other and trying to wind-up the non-existent bears (non-existent because they've all been banned). It's a joke! It's time to pull the plug Martin.

Yes, a year ago, Hamish had a full-time job winding people up on another site, apparently.

    Then he got banned.

    Now he's here.

What did the "bulls:rolleyes:" do to wind up the bears, put links to improving economic conditions and house price indexes.

So putting a counter argument against the "bears:rolleyes:" caused some people to get banned?

I would hate to post something that did not fit in with someones VI and cause them to go off at everyone including the owners and get themselves baned.

They might blame me instead of themselves.;)

Good job I kept my cool when all those bears posted facts last year, they were trying to get me banned obviously. :)
