Broken phone - O2 contract

Hubby has a Nokia 6220 classic on a 24 month contract with O2, the contract still has 15 months to run but the phone is broken.

It won't charge (he's been putting the battery into another Nokia phone to charge it) and now this morning whenever he phones me I can't hear him at all.

Is this something that O2 would fix or are we left with a useless phone?

they can take a look at if you contact them they will send you a courier to get the phone take alook if they can fix it they will send it back


or if you have insurance claim on the insurance

Thanks - have called O2 and they're going to arrange to collect it from my local store.

Do you know if they'll lend me a phone while they've got this one?

You can ask 02 shop if they have a spare phone to give you in the meantime. They have a stock of basic phones, £25 deposit, credited on return.
