It is marginally quicker to load pages, but much quicker to load itself.
Things I like about Opera:
(a) you can used tabbed-broswing (lots of websites opened in one window). I have the tab bar at the bottom so it sits above the Windows taskbar;
(b) you can reload closed tabs, which not just reloads the lost page, but also the "Back" button history;
(c) rather than that awful little IE progress bar which moves across at the same speed regardless of what is happening it actually tells you how many kilobites have downloaded, and has a proper percentage;
(d) no pop-ups.
Ooooh Just to add, The forums are top notch, here ye go Gizmoleeds but I expect you knew that, sorry

gizmoleeds wrote:No actually - I've never been on them. But to be honest, everything is so easy to use I can't see why I'd ever need to....

I've just thought of another one too - if the computer ever crashes, Opera will return you to exactly where you left off - all your open tabs - even the "Back" buttons will work and everthing.
yeah I do like Opera, how do you get on with email interface, If you use it I may have to pick your brain a bit.

FireFox no going back to IE . Been using it for two years now and I couldn't be happier. Also use Thunderbird mail.
JoeYou can always get more with a kind word and a 2-by-4 than with just a kind word.0 -

I just couldn't get on with the fact it only supported plain-taxt emails. I like to put things in bold, and italic and such. It is the one feature I really don't like in it.

Main is I.E. 6.
I use firefox, mozilla, opera and netscrape for checking web pages I create to make sure they fit the standard.
I do prefer the MVM rather than sun java hence the use of I.E. mainly.0
