I say boycott Shell and BP. Fill up at supermarkets

Hi Martin - not sure why you think this is a good idea!!???

Already the superstores have a virtual monopoly on fuel supplies, there are verrrrry few independent filling stations left now, with the majority of other sites being fuel company owned.

This is why there is little competition on the price/litre in real terms. It matters little to the producers who actually sells it, their forcourts will only be kept in operation while they can make some profit from their shops.

f they disappear, ther'll only be the Asdas & the rest to go to.

& thet wouldn't be nice - look at the American term for desolation = any independent business within 3 miles of a Walmart store!!

So pleeeeeezzzzzzze don't buy supermarket fuel (read my earlier post & you'll also see how your car'll be better off too!)

Its not Walmart you have to worry about here - its Tesco, they are the ones who are driving shops out of business. Not just with their massive supermarket sites and share of the market, but now with all the convinience stores they own. Destroying communties and local shops and removing post offices for more shop space.
