So basically, i need to add bundles & get the Orange settings.
Does anyone have a link for this? Also what's the JT help desk?
Sounds like you'll need to manually input the Orange Internet settings as it wasn't officially unlocked to Orange. Try looking at the Dev Team & iClarified websites, or any of the iPhone hacking forums, they'll all probably have the info or links to it.
We'll have to agree to disagree on the £15 charge. PAYG iPhones are not sim-free, & o2 do factor in 12 months worth of top-ups in the subsidised cost of the handset. Apple tend to set prices on these kinds of things anyway so it's probably them who've dictated the charge to o2 in the first place.
Still wondering if/how o2 will unlock second hand iPhones. Presumably they base the 12 month period from the date the phone IMEI was registered, so I guess it depends whether they'll want to unlock non o2 customers or not!0 -
Found the info on google.......have managed to set up internet access via Orange on my iphone. Yayyy:T
For anyone else who might be interested, i went into Settings/General/Network/Edge - Then entered this info:
APN: orangeinternet
Username: user
Password: pass0
